I am renovating a 73 starcraft starmaster 6. I have cleaned and scrubbed the canvas & screens - while all the 'stains' did not come up out (and I wasn't surprised, but information technology looks and SMELLS much better!) I would similar to clean the vinyl windows up - they let light in, only are 'foggy' - not scratched up or worn, they just seem to be coated with age...

is there anything that you can recommend to aid brand them clearer?

Popups.....when sleeping on the basis gets to yous
You will never get those clear once again. Your merely solution is to supplant them unfortunately. You tin go to a textile store and pic it up!!!! Use quality nylon heavy duty thread to stitch them dorsum on and you should not take a trouble and they will last for years every bit long as you keep everything dry in the popup up.

You could endeavour a plastic polish similar Novus. I've used it on my Jeep windows and it does a great job of removing fogging and scratches.

You take nothing to lose by trying one of the polishes similar Novus. Any local auto parts store will accept plastic polish in stock.

You might not have a lot of luck, only the only thing to lose is a few bucks, some fourth dimension and elbow grease!

Good luck and allow us know how it turns out.

The windows in our 1974 Coleman (given to us past friends who no longer wanted to work on it) were grimy as well. A microfiber textile and some vinegar really made a difference! Not every spot came off, only they are not every bit filmy anymore. I may have to attempt another products and see if further comeback is possible!

Try this

Magazine & Aluminum Smooth
This is our legendary metal polish. Mothers®' secret formula balances a bright shine with easy use for aluminum wheels and parts, brass, alloys and accessories. Application is just a affair of a make clean cloth and a footling elbow grease. Mothers® Mag & Aluminum polish is strong enough to put a shine to the almost neglected metals and gentle plenty to use on a regular ground.

Use a microfiber cloth, try a lilliputian spot first, information technology seems odd, but this works on plastics and windows.

Proficient Luck

We use Plexo on the Jeep and the PUC. It works really well. Information technology does remove mild fogging, but can't vouch for serious fog.
